Jet World Masters

Jet World Masters

Radio-controlled jets, built to exact scale after manned originals, are one of the most interesting disciplines in aeromodelling. Whatever these technically sophisticated model airplanes take to the air, attention is guaranteed. Watching the model airplanes fly demanding jet-typical maneuverers is a special treat for the old and young - not only for aviation enthusiast!

From 13th to 19th August 2017 the best pilots and builders of scale jet aircrafts from all over the world will meet each other at the Jämi Airfield, Jämijärvi, Finland. Presenting and flying their scale jet models of famous trainers and fighters they compete at the highest competition which to be held every two years, the international Jet World Masters.

Built to exact scale, down to every rivet and screw, the model aircrafts flown in Jämi are hard to distinguish from their originals. Equipped with working jet turbines, these model aircrafts, weighing up to 20 kg, not only fly like the originals, they even leave the slight scent of kerosene that is familiar from real airports and air shows.

Get a taste of a world of scale jet aeromodelling - make a visit to Jämi Airfield 13th-19th August 2017 !
